biography

Hermann Huter is the third of five children of a farming family on 9 April 1927 in St. Jakob am Arlberg in the world. It grows unnecessarily but under very modest circumstances. The more men in the village to enlist, the more work is left to the women and youth. Hermann is the summer on the mountain and help in agriculture. In the fall of 1944 he was drafted into the army, comes as gunner survived to Yugoslavia and a death march is 44 months a prisoner of war. - It is hand-loom weavers, food and ski instructor in St. Anton, married in 1959. 1983/84 its guest house is destroyed by an avalanche.
